In accordance with NYC mandates, Top of the Rock Observation Deck will require proof of vaccination for all guests 12 years and older who wish to visit. Additionally, a face mask is required, regardless of vaccination status, for all guests above age 2.

John D. Rockefeller, Jr. first opened the Observation Deck atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza more than 80 years ago, to give something back to New Yorkers - a place to appreciate and celebrate the city. Now you too can enjoy the view and appreciate the history!

Upon entering, visitors are greeted by the elegant, 14,000 piece Swarovski crystal chandelier, Joie. The exhibit hall on our mezzanine features a retrospective on the history of Rockefeller Center, including a thrilling 'beam walk' and state-of-the-art theater with 3 short films covering the Center’s historic 10-year construction during the Great Depression in the 1930s. Then, ascend to the Top in only 50 seconds with a ride up 850 feet (260 m) on the Sky Shuttle.

Breathtaking views stretch for miles in every direction as you explore 3 floors with expansive, unobstructed indoor and outdoor viewing areas and decks. Face Coverings are required. For safety measures, we will be thermal screening (contactless) all guests upon entering the attraction.
Designating lobby entrances and exits—guests will only enter at the south side of 50th Street between 5th and 6th avenues. Conducting temperature screenings for all guests upon entry. Implementing touchless check-in. Minimizing the need for guests to touch surfaces such as doors and elevator buttons. Limiting each elevator cab to no more than four people or a single party.
Enhancing cleaning and disinfecting protocols. Cleaning frequently touched surfaces with increased regularity and rigor. Utilizing antiviral disinfectant cleaners recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Installing touchless hand sanitizer dispensers throughout.
